It's time to get back to working on myself as an artist. I do lots of creative work for a living but some how that's different. I miss working more with photographs so I'm going to challenge myself to post at least once a week. Mostly pictures and thoughts if I can do it more often great -- but that's not the point. The point is to get back to seeing the world through my Artist and my Photographer with no judgement. To play with composition and enjoy being in the world as a creative soul.

I was recently at Canon Beach on the Coast of Oregon...Inspirational. I expected it to beautiful but was blown away the minute I stepped on the sand. It was truly amazing and a place I hope to return to soon and spend some quality time just soaking it all in. I love the ocean and always feel connected. At Canon beach it was magical I could have walked the beach for miles. And the "secret" circle I found on the beach inspired me to create a painting with circles. I'll share that with you as soon as it's done.

Inspiration Stew
I often think of inspiration like a hearty stew -- it contains many ingredients that have been added together and allowed to stew for hours. My stew is different everyday if I tried to write some of the ingredients today they would include: Kermit the frog, the everyday people who stopped to help each other ten years ago, the parents who taught their children to celebrate the life of parents they never knew, Julia Child, the women in my Creative Journaling group and Christina Cox.
